A diesel particulate filter (DPF) heavily clogged with carbon soot and ash was sent to the Keertek lab for a cleaning feasibility test. The result? Near-complete restoration in a single cycle.
The filter arrived with its honeycomb substrate nearly invisible beneath thick black deposits — a common failure mode that typically forces fleet operators to replace DPFs at high cost. Keertek engineers applied the Flash-JET integrated cleaning system, combining high-pressure pulse flushing with precision ultrasonic cavitation at optimized temperature.
After a 20-minute cycle, the filter’s internal channels were fully open, with the honeycomb structure clearly visible and airflow resistance restored to 99% of factory specification. The customer avoided a $2,000+ replacement and adopted the Keertek Flash-JET system for in-house DPF maintenance.
